Last Friday September 23, 2016 Google in its official blog for Webmasters, announced that it has published a new update in its algorithm that seeks as always, to combat spam abuse and bad practices in SEO (SEO) .
This new update reinforces their privacy policies and makes SEO strategists of different companies and companies around the world, replant their practices.
Penguin is now in real time: Historically, the list of sites affected by Penguin is updated periodically (from 60 to 90 days). Once a webmaster considerably improved his site and his presence on the Internet, many of the algorithms of other search engines tracked him quickly, but others, such as Google’s Penguin, had to be manually renewed or wait for it to run in a determined period. With this change, the data of the new algorithm is updated in real time, so the changes will be visible much faster.
In addition, Penguin devaluates junk mail by adjusting classification based on spam signals rather than affecting site-wide ranking.
